Participation in sports instills lessons for leading successful lives. By providing a Blue Ribbon school program that enriches children’s experiences through sports, the legacy of Mobile’s sports heritage will continue well into the future.
In partnership with the Mobile County School System, the Mobile Sports Hall of Fame hopes to use sports to promote health and wellness in our children. Events like the RSA Tower Stair Climb challenge kids to get moving.
In addition, the Hall of Fame aims to grow relationships between athletes who competed at the amateur, collegiate, and professional levels, including those who made Mobile their home, and service organizations like Boys and Girls Clubs, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Team Focus. Sports and leadership camps led by these athletes can teach our kids skills they can use on and off the field to lead successful lives.
